Aquatech is well recognized as a leader in the supply of specialized equipment catering to Construction Dewatering, Sewer Bypass Pumping, Surface Water Management, Discharge Filtration and Industrial Fluid Transfer. We are significantly expanding our rental fleet inventory in the Tampa Bay and Ft Myers area and are looking for strong technical outside sales representation.

Aquatech has also launched a new remote live monitoring platform, capable to monitor on desk top and smart phones, flow rates and discharge water quality, groundwater and liquid levels, vacuum and pressure levels on operating dewatering and bypass pumping systems, and much more - with built in alert system to alert maintenance staff of any operating or quality issues immediately.

The Outside Sales Representative establishes new, and maintains existing relationships with all customers in the area or sector assigned, and will be a member of a team that utilizes technical, organizational, and communication skills to promote the overall growth and profitability of AQUATECHs fleet of pumping, dewatering, and environmental equipment. This individual will utilize product knowledge to address customer requirements mainly as it relates to pump equipment rentals and sales in the construction, mining and industrial sectors.

The Job Responsibilities

• Obtain all necessary training and product knowledge to represent Aquatechs product and service offerings
• Collaborate with Sales Team to create successful sales and marketing plan.
• Establishing new and maintain professional customer client relations.

• Visit on a regular basis, existing customers as well as new project sites.
• Evaluate, recommend and provide proposals/quotes for dewatering and pumping systems to suit the customers needs.
• Maintain and be available for open communications with customers for after-hours emergency responses
• Coordinate with operations staff for equipment availability, delivery and returns
• Evenings, weekends (on-call) and travel within defined territory is a component of this position
• Maintain accurate customer records, including all sales opportunities through CRM (Salesforce)
• Act in accordance with Aquatechs Health and Safety and Environmental Management systems.
• Achieve annual sales targets through the sale and rental of Aquatech's equipment.

Qualifications and Required Experience

• Preferably 3 to 5 years experience in rental/sales of pumps and pumping systems
• Bachelors Degree, preferably in mechanical or civil engineering, or related experience an asset.
• Very strong oral and written communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal, customer service and negotiating skills.
• Strong organizational, computer and time management skills.
• Knowledge with Salesforce and/or other rental management programs an asset.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds frequently and on a daily basis.
• Uninhibited ability to stand, walk, bend, squat, push, pull, reach and grasp.
• Sporadic exposure to outdoor weather, shop and job site conditions.
• Forklift Certification an asset.

Pay: $50,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
