Insurance Account Manager

Zhou Agency is an integrated financial services firm located in the heart of Chicago on the Magnificent Mile. We have a group of young and energetic Real Estate Consultants, Accountants and Risk Managers. Our mission is to build meaningful, lasting relationship with our clients while securing their financial future. Currently, we are looking for an Account Manager to lead our insurance teams personal & commercial lines of business. The Insurance account manager is responsible for procuring new business and retaining existing business by identifying clients risk management needs, understanding various carriers target and specialty, and obtaining best value coverage and protection for the clients. In addition, the Account Manager is accountable for meeting revenue goals, managing and improving processes, as well as exemplifying best practices in client service.

Responsibilities

• Meet New Business Target by converting leads to policies including:
• Obtaining and presenting business quotes to prospects
• Identifying insurance exposures, matching exposure with different types of insurance policies, providing recommendations for best coverages

• Meet Retention Target by providing excellent client services including:
• Processing policy change quote requests, cancellations, and processing claims
• Periodically reviewing policies and renewals to provide updated recommendations for clients based on changes in needs and policies

• Fully utilize EPIC system to track operations and measure results
• Follow company procedure regarding process and procedures to ensure compliance

Qualifications

• At least 5+ years of experience in the Insurance Industry (preferably experience with Commercial Insurance Brokerage)
• Property & Casualty license required
• Bachelors degree in business management, marketing, or a related field
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to prioritize and multitask
• Motivated, self-starter, independent problem-solver & resourceful

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $75,000.00 per year
