Job Overview:
This position does not require experience in this field; however, we are looking for people-oriented candidates, willing to travel at least 20 times (90 + days) a year and ready to learn and be a part of a fast-growing company. This is an entry-level position that will lead to a career path as an Estate Buying Specialist. This position will be responsible for assisting on events with Estate Buying Specialists by working with our Estate Buyers to prepare, set up and help run the event. This position will help interact with customers in a positive and efficient manner, check-in each attendee, answer questions as needed, and observe and learn the role of the Estate Buying Specialist. When not on the road at our estate-buying events, our team members will have an opportunity to learn various aspects of the business to focus their time and talents as they grow into the Estate Buying Specialist role. Some example areas of focus are online sales & marketing - where theyll be helping write product descriptions to incentivize purchase and listing the items for sale online - customer service, and inventory management. As skills are developed, more responsibilities will be assigned based on an individuals strength and the areas of expertise they demonstrate. The Traveling Sales and Marketing Assistant job can take you to Alaska, New York, Hawaii, Las Vegas, Miami, and anywhere between while developing a career path and being part of a great team. Traveling is a requirement for this role.

Compensation is comprised of both base salary and bonus, calculated at approximately $40,000 to $65,000.00 per year.

Requirements:Duties & Responsibilities:
- Foster a warm environment for customer relations.
- In charge of obtaining advertising/marketing data and customer information.
- Travel to sponsored buying events and assist Estate Buyers and Team Leads to ensure the event is executed with the highest quality and customer service.
- Deliver excellent customer service to sponsors and customers while efficiently closing sales.
- Accurately identify and describe items for online auction resale.
- Follow company processes, buying policies, track item listings, and reach personalized goals.
- Perform miscellaneous office duties as needed.
- Observe and Learn the Estate Buyer Position responsibilities
Qualifications:
- Ability to travel 12-16 days per month on 4-5 consecutive day trips.
- Availability to travel on weekend days as needed.
- Ability to lift 40-50 lbs regularly with ease.
- Strong visual acuity to assist in identifying fine print and hallmarks.
- Possess and maintain a current, valid driver's license.
- Exude confidence, positivity, and poise.
- Reason and communicate independently and intelligently.
- Keen attention to detail and strong organization skills.
- Comfortable working in a laid-back, fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications (but not required):
- Experience in customer service, buying and/or appraising jewelry or estate items is a plus.
- Certifications such as GG, AJP, or Master Watchmaker
- Appreciation for fine jewelry, watches, antiques, coins, fine art, photography, firearms, or other collectible items preferred, not required.
- Bilingual opportunities may be available.
