Lucia Landscaping is an award-winning, service-based company with over 25 years in business, serving commercial clients in Michigan. With over 130 employees, we have an award-winning team and culture with high growth! We are currently seeking a Sales Manager to join our team and contribute to our exciting plans for growth and expansion by managing, coaching and developing our sales and marketing departments.
This position provides a salary range of $100,000+ annually, commensurate with experience, plus opportunities for commission. We offer a competitive benefits package including health, dental, vision, and life insurance as well as a 401k, paid time off and paid holidays.
Requirements for our Sales Manager:
- 5+ years of sales experience, with prior experience in lawn, landscape, snow removal, construction or facilities management;
- A minimum of 3+ years managing and directing a multi-person sales team;
- Demonstrated leadership experience including coaching, mentoring, developing and training a sales team;
- Experience managing marketing team members and overseeing marketing initiatives;
- Extensive face-to-face (B2B) selling experience, including customer relationship management experience;
- Experience planning and implementing sales strategies, including a demonstrated understanding of numbers, metrics and KPIs and the ability to tell stories with data and articulate concepts behind numbers and metrics across all levels of the organization;
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office;
- Self-starter with a demonstrated growth mindset and excellent communication skills and the ability to build value-based relationships.
Key Responsibilities for our Sales Manager:
- Hiring, coaching, developing, and leading the sales team;
- Managing key sales metrics including meeting planned sales goals for the entire team and hitting specific activity benchmarks;
- Tracking sales goals, generating sales reports to share with leadership, completing monthly forecasting, tracking sales and budgets for the entire department;
- Analyzing data on past performance and projecting future performance;
- Ensuring hand off of jobs within 24 hours of the sale;
- Coordinating with marketing on lead generation, and acting as a liaison for external marketing campaigns and advertisements;
- Ensuring that the sales team works cross functionally with other departments;
- Working with prospective customers, proposing solutions, and building trust-based relationships internally and externally;
- Other duties as assigned.
