Job Overview:

• Responsibilities:
• Sales Strategy: Plan and implement effective sales strategies to attract new business and manage existing clients.
• Budget Management: Develop and manage operating budgets to achieve profit/loss ratios and market share targets.
• Staff Management: Recruit, and coach sales team members, ensuring their development and performance.
• Customer Relations: Act as a liaison between customers and operations staff, maintaining relationships and sourcing new customers.
• Financial Analysis: Conduct monthly financial analysis, assess market rates, and ensure accurate data management.
• Specialized Sales: Set goals for specialized sales (e.g., LTL, Intermodal) and focus on business growth.
• Succession Planning: Develop sales leaders and plan for future leadership roles.
• Experience:
• Transportation and Logistics: Familiarity with the transportation and logistics industries.
• Sales Success: Proven track record of growing business, starting new accounts, and cold-calling.
• Decision-Making: Ability to make quick, informed business decisions.
• Education: A bachelors degree is preferred.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
