Summary:
The Deposit Sales Manager's primary responsibility will be to effectively grow and retain member deposits by working directly with the SVP of Deposit Programs to develop strategies, techniques, tactics, and accountabilities to remain on track or ahead of performance from a budget and activity-based perspective.


Where you will make an impact:

  • Develop and implement strategies to increase customer engagement and retention for deposits
  • Manage the deposit origination channel, monitor and report sales metrics, and ensure deposit sales and service success standards are met
  • Ensure that daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly summaries, supported by relevant data, are provided to the respective manager
  • Manage and maintain member engagement expectations, including interactions, activity, and use of deposit products
  • Collaborate closely with the marketing and creative teams to develop and promote successful deposit campaigns
  • Possesses a thorough knowledge of all federal regulations and procedures concerning deposits
  • Works closely with the Information Technology department to manage and maintain online banking platforms
  • Identifies and implements process improvements in the organization with emphasis on sales processes and systems
  • Determine and manage to instant approval KPIs
  • Manage customer escalations and execute on delivery
  • Development of service level agreements including reporting
  • Identifies and removes barriers that prevent the attainment of product goals and improvements
  • Maintain and leverage industry knowledge on deposit acquisition strategy
  • Own the customer journey SME and recommend enhancements
  • Collaborate closely with service team

Maximize Value Proposition:

  • Ensure that processes are followed and identify areas where functions can be improved or streamlined for greater efficiency and effectiveness
  • Utilize budget and market data to make recommendations on new deposit opportunities and/or for improving underperforming products, while maintaining budget standards
  • Establish success criteria for all promotions and have contingency plans in place to aid in the transition
  • Monitor and manage activity and sales targets including development of action plans

Team Development:

  • Provide training and coaching to Account Managers, Sales Analysts, and Deposit Programs team members and support operational departments within the organization
  • Manage and coach the team on sales, best practices and the Vibrant experience and ensure the team executes to Vibrant experience standards
  • Motivate the team and keep track of their progress in achieving sales and activity goals in accordance with Service Level Agreement (SLA) standards
  • Identifies issues, continuously provides coaching, mentoring, feedback and support to aid in building trust, development and promotability
  • Cultivates an environment of trust and optimizes talents and capabilities of team
  • Identifies the right people for the right role

Environmental and Physical Activity Requirements:

This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, and fax machines. The daily responsibilities of this position constantly require effective talking, hearing, walking, finger dexterity, reaching, stooping, and grasping functions. The position also often requires reaching and lifting (up to 25 pounds). Frequent sitting, standing, and repetitive motion activities are also required. Must be able to read print and computer-based materials and to do so with consistent accuracy. Most of these functions require light physical exertion and are conducted indoors at controlled degrees of temperature.
