```Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Technical Sales Engineer to join our team! You will work with process and facilities engineers in the biopharm, power, chemical and high-tech markets to drive company revenue.
Sentrol, Inc., a Plymouth, MA based distributor of fluid sensor and control instrumentation for high tech industries is looking for an energetic, outgoing, organized and detail-oriented person to join the company as a Technical Sales Engineer covering areas of Massachusetts and Connecticut.
- Knowledge of control valves, flowmeters, control systems, moisture sensors, and fire protection or explosion protection systems would be helpful.
- Duties include but are not limited to: sizing, pricing and recommending fluid control instruments for sensing and control applications for customers in the Biopharm, Semiconductor, Wastewater, Power and OEM markets; preparing and issuing product quotations; working on construction project bids; completing sales orders and purchase orders.
- Good communications skills required. Position is full-time with salary, commission, benefits and 401(k) plan. 5 to 7 years technical sales experience. BA or BS degree required. BS in Engineering preferred. Excellent communication, sales and computer skills a MUST.
- Managment skills a plus.
- Position is full time and requires travel to customer sites in Massachusetts and Connecticuts 3 days a week on average.
Responsibilities:
- Present and sell company technical products and services to new and existing customers
- Prospect and contact potential customers
- Reach agreed upon sales targets by the deadline
- Resolve customer inquiries and complaints
- Set follow-up appointments to keep customers aware of the latest developments
- Create sales material to present to customers
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in sales, customer service, or other related fields
- Familiarity with CRM platforms
- Ability to build rapport with clients
- Strong negotiation skills
- Deadline and detail-oriented
- BA or BS degree. BS in Engineering preferred.

Pay: $97,189.00 - $105,114.00 per year
