Position Overview
As a Roofing Sales Superstar, your mission is to carve your path to financial glory. You'll venture into the field, conquer company leads, referrals, and break through cold calls. Your day will consist of generating leads, property inspections, contract signings, meetings with insurance adjusters, and dialing in estimates that bring us one step closer to financial victory.
Position Responsibilities by Phase:
  • Phase 1: Prospecting and Customer Delight
    • Ignite and maintain a Positive Mental Attitude (PMA) both in the field and office.
    • Embark on team and solo expeditions to storm-affected areas, prospecting leads and making cold calls.
    • Perform property inspections using high-tech gadgets to document damage.
    • Lead property owners through the insurance claim and build day process.
    • Consistent and thorough communication with customers from start to finish of their project.
    • Championing this phase adds approximately 1/3 of the weighted average of Company Sales Commissions to your salary.
  • Phase 2: Scope Mastery and Contract Conquest
    • Meet with insurance adjusters and craft a comprehensive scope of damage.
    • Collaborate with adjusters, creating a line-item estimate using powerful estimating software.
    • Formally engage in contracts with property owners using our exclusive build contracts.
    • Your efforts contribute about 1/3 of the weighted average of Company Sales Commissions to your salary.
  • Phase 3: Profit Maximization and Production Triumph
    • Work directly with sales and production and supplement managers to achieve accurate and profitable estimates.
    • Assist production and supplement team, securing information, photographs and change orders to ensure customer satisfaction.
    • Assist the accounts receivable department in successful collection of payments.
    • Help maintain our financial viability, ensuring each job's profit margin targets are met.
    • This phase contributes approximately 1/3 of the weighted average of Company Sales Commissions to your salary.
Other Responsibilities:
  • Feed us accurate information, insights, and valuable leads.
  • Participate in company meetings, sales rallies, and advanced training sessions.
  • Embrace the Mighty Dog Roofing University Virtual Training Platform.
  • Keep the production and accounts receivable departments informed of all developments.
  • Actively cold calling, door knocking, canvassing, and networking to build your own pipeline of business.
  • Maintain a relentless pursuit of financial greatness, achieving all minimum monthly contracted sales targets.
Qualifications:
  • A self-starter with a thirst for exceeding sales targets. Must be highly motivated by salary and building relationships.
  • A Driver's License and clean driving record.
  • Previous sales or customer-facing experience.
  • Extraordinary communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A positive attitude and unwavering commitment to our mission and values.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft and CRM software preferred.
  • Knowledge of roofing or construction is helpful but not necessary.

Work Environment:
A mix of in-office and field work, tackling on-site projects, active lead generation and phone calls/desk work. This is not an easy job, it takes resiliency, self-motivation, and a desire to connect with people on a daily basis. It is required that you be comfortable climbing ladders, getting on roofs and occasionally carrying heavy things. You must be willing to continuously learn, improve and adapt.
Position Type/Expected Hours Worked:
This is a full-time sales position. Hours are flexible but can be outside of typical '9 to 5' hours. Evenings and weekends are sometimes required, particularly during spring and summer months. Consistent and autonomous direction is necessary and is essential to your success.

Perks:
  • Compensation based on experience. Mix of salary and commission total compensation range usually between $80,000-$100,000 and there is no commission cap.
