Job Purpose: To provide engineering support to sales, manufacturing, and customers to provide the best possible solutions for new and existing opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Applications Engineer
• Provide pre-sales technical assistance
• Research and build relationships with new clients. Work with customers on solutions to new projects
• Specify solutions working from customer specs
• Support sales and engineering team to grow existing customer base
• Maintain documents and records
• Provide customer service support in house as well as at customer locations
• Provide technical assistance to manufacturing as needed
• Provide maintenance and training for equipment and procedures, writing of procedures as needed
• Present new products and services and enhance existing relationships.
• Work with technical staff and other internal colleagues to meet customer needs.
• Identify opportunities for services and distribution that will lead to an increase in sales. Cold call as appropriate to grow a pipeline of opportunities.
• Identify business opportunities and develop a pipeline of new business.
• Build key customer relationships.
• Support inside sales as needed.
• Possible website support and assist with technical support for advertising, e-commerce experience a plus.

Ideal candidate will be/have:

• Experience with Servo Drive system and specifications as it relates to electric motor performance.
• Proficient with brushed and brushless servo motors
• Proficient with servo motor controls and drives
• Experienced with encoders, hall assemblies, and other feedback devices
• Experienced with gearboxes, brakes, etc.
• Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
• Excellent organizational skills
• Experienced with Autodesk Inventor and AutoCAD, Excel and Word
• Comfortable in front of customers Provide after sales support services
• Education (BA Electrical Engineering)
• 2 to 5 years experience

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $84,000.00 - $93,000.00 per year
