POSITION SUMMARY
The National Account Sales Manager develops, manages, and leads the implementation of strategies and programs to profitably grow sales and market share within the current account base as well as procuring new national accounts by penetrating those organizations and building relationships high/deep/wide with key decision makers. Measure progress toward account objectives and drive change to ensure objectives are met.
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop market/user driven strategies to profitably grow HYDRADYNE's market share for both existing
relationships that can develop into National Accounts as well as new National Accounts
- Measure account performance and analyze/interpret data to create business plans to drive plan revenue
for existing and new accounts
- Create and execute strategies that support annual and long-range plans
- Drive accountability for plans/actions that build our brand and product offering within accounts
- Coordinate and implement new product placement, promotions, and tactics to grow sales
- Measure/monitor effectiveness of programs as well as manage them for customer base
- Recognize trends, creates strategies, and develops vision to drive change to maximize sales and earnings
- Grow profitable sales by managing product mix, price, and costs-to-serve
- Work cross-functionally to provide feedback/recommendations and actively collaborate with other
functions to ensure coordination of strategic account selling plans
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Experience should demonstrate proficiencies in the following areas:
- Fluid Power product knowledge with emphasis on Parker products.
- Ability to analyze sales data to determine appropriate actions to improve account position
- Results driven with ability to manage multiply priorities with highly effective follow up skills
- Ability to present information to small or larger informal groups as well as experience presenting to key account customers as required
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Demonstrate leadership skills, remain task focused and manage his/her time to meet predetermined deadlines.
- High level of integrity.
- Accepts responsibility for his/her actions.
- Able to properly convey complex ideas or concepts in simple terms to gain alignment.

Education: Bachelors Degree (four-year college or university) or equivalent consultative sales experience preferably with a fluid power background
Experience: 10 years in a fluid power or industrial distribution environment. P&L management for large operation
Skills taught after hire as needed: Microsoft Office, P21 System, Rubber Tree CRM, Product Training, Pneumatics Training, Mechanics Training, Systems Design, Sales Techniques, Management Techniques, HR/Personnel Management, Computer System Training, Microsoft Office Training, ISO Training 9001 and 14001, Safety Training
Certificates & Licenses: Fluid Power certification helpful but not required with proper experience.
Other Requirements: Drivers license with a clear record in accordance with Hydradyne Hydraulics policies.
Other Physical Requirements: Able to travel overnight frequently by car and air
Work Environment: Works in an indoor controlled and uncontrolled environment with occasional work outside
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $140,000.00 per year
