Full description of the position

Large NYC based auto group has a rare opening for a Used Car Director to take us to the next level!

The right person must provide leadership, solid sales results and have a successful track record in overseeing a substantial used car operation.

Requirements

- Extensive retail experience. The right candidate has sold at least 200 used vehicles monthly on a group platform
- We are not looking for a used car buyer, but a goal-oriented, enthusiastic director to lead our pre-owned efforts
- Attention to detail and excellent problem solving skills
- Must be fluent in promotion and online marketing
- Must have thorough understanding of used car market
- Clean driving record

Responsibilities

- Oversee pre-owned sales for our large and growing group of stores
- Coach store managers on best practices to improve performance and profit
- Set sales goals, track progress, and manage inventory for maximum impact
