Reports To: Supervisor Location: Grandview, Texas

Title: Customer Service Representative Salary Range: $16 - $18

Position Type: Hourly Bilingual/Spanish is encouraged to apply!

Position Purpose:

At Lelands Barns and Sheds, we take pride in producing the highest quality custom sheds. This position will provide exceptional customer service regarding product services and resolving issues. Essential Job Functions

Customer Service:

Receives and responds to customer calls, emails, and letters with professional etiquette.

Verifies sales orders and processes within company systems.

Communicates build and delivery timelines to customers.

Collects customer payments.

Enters warranty/service orders quickly and efficiently.

Discusses warranty claims and expectations.

Update and maintain CRM systems as it relates to customer orders and service/warranty claims.

Assists with updating finished goods inventory.

Safety:

Performs preventive maintenance on tools and equipment and ensures equipment is in safe operating condition.

Follows established safety procedures and techniques to perform job duties including lifting and climbing; operates tools and equipment according to established safety procedures.

Corrects unsafe conditions in work area and promptly reports any conditions that are not immediately correctable to manager.

Knowledge of computer programs, including Word and Excel.

Knowledge and skill of emotional control.

Ability to exercise discretion regarding matters of a sensitive or confidential nature.

Minimum Required Qualifications

Education: High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.

Experience: 1 years experience required, 2 years experience preferred working in a customer service capacity.

Physical & Mental Demands, Work Hazards

Tools/Equipment Used: Standard office equipment, including computer and peripherals.

Posture: Prolonged sitting; occasional bending/stooping, pushing/pulling, and twisting.

Motion: Frequent repetitive hand motions, including keyboarding and use of mouse; occasional reaching. Frequent walking up and down stairs to the 2nd floor office.

Lifting: Occasional light lifting and carrying (less than 10 lbs.).

Environment: Works in an office setting; may require occasional irregular and/or prolonged hours.

Attendance: Regular and punctual attendance at the worksite is required for this position.

Mental Demands: Maintains emotional control under stress; works with frequent interruptions.
