EPS is seeking a qualified and experienced FIELD SALES ENGINEER for our packaging machinery and materials group. This position is multifaceted and requires an individual with excellent skills to communicate with internal and external customers.
Engineered Packaging Systems Inc., dba EPS, is a certified WBENC woman-owned business established in 2004 as a distributor and integrator of PRIMARY AND SECONDARY packaging machinery and related packaging consumables with emphasis on providing contemporary solutions for our clients business.

Position Description
Field Sales Engineer
B2B sales of packaging machinery and packaging consumables.
This position will report directly to the ownership and be responsible for the development of packaging machinery opportunities and packaging consumable opportunities. You will have the opportunity to perform, practice, and apply a wide range of Sale and engineering skills to our clients projects.
To be a successful candidate, you will need to have proven sale experience in capital equipment sales related to manufacturing, warehousing, 3PL, etc. You will also be trained on our product mix and be provided some leads and sales opportunities.
Advancement opportunities exist.
Field Sales Engineer Responsibilities Include:
- Developing packaging machinery solutions for potential and existing clients.
- Interacting with clients in sales and project development.
- Identifying and developing new opportunities with clients.
- Coordinating with cross-discipline team members to make sure that all parties are on track with project requirements, deadlines, and schedules.
- Establishing effective project communication plans and ensuring their execution.
- Have excellent communication, interpersonal, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Assist in proposal generation and business development.
Requirements:
- A bachelors degree is preferred
- Military background a plus
- CAD knowledge a plus
- Able to complete projects in a timely manner.
- Budget management experience.
- Capital Equipment Sales Experience a plus.
- Must be team oriented with excellent communication skills.
