Johannes Hunter Jewelers is a thriving retail jeweler known for exquisite jewelry, exceptional customer service and the highest ethics. We are seeking a dedicated Jewelry Repair Coordinator and Sales Support person to join our team. Your meticulous attention to detail and recall ability will be essential to delivering exceptional customer service to our clients.

Responsibilities:

As a key member of our team, youll wear multiple hats:

1. Jewelry Repair Coordinator

• Process Repairs: Efficiently and accurately manage jewelry repairs through our in house shop or other shops, including receiving, documenting, and tracking repairs from intake to completion. Liaise with both in-house and outsourced jewelers to prioritize work to ensure timely delivery to clients. Maintain accurate records of repairs, customer information, repair details and timelines.
• Communication Bridge: Collaborate with sales associates to keep clients informed about repair progress, pricing, and timelines.
• Quality Control: Inspect repaired jewelry for accuracy and to ensure repairs meet our high standards.

2. Sales Support

• Support Sales Associates: Assist customers, answering inquiries via phone and in person, and facilitate sales transactions when necessary. Assist with execution of credit applications.
• Assist The Sales Team: Provide repair knowledge regarding pricing, materials, and gemstones.
• Ship, Receive and Price Jewelry: Assist administrative team when needed.

Qualifications

• A genuine interest in jewelry and its craftsmanship.
• Exceptional attention to detail with a strong ability to organize and prioritize tasks effectively.
• Excellent memory for client names, situations, preferences, and repair histories.
• Proficiency in Microsoft 365 Office Suite, general knowledge of software programs.
• Strong communications skills, both verbal and written to interface with clients, sales staff, jewelers, vendors, and management.
• Ability to quickly learn new material, systems, and procedures
• Flexibility to adapt to a fast-paced retail environment and work collaboratively within a team.
