Position Title: Inside/Outside Sales and Service Support: Maritime Industry
Position Type: Full Time, non-exempt
Rate: $25.00+DOE
Schedule: Mon-Fri 7:30am-4:00pm, 30 min unpaid lunch
Overtime: Required as requested by management
Probationary Period: 90 Days

Summary Description:
S3 Maritime provides private yacht, commercial, and recreational vessels with repair, retrofit, and custom solutions. The Inside Sales Position is designed to support incoming client inquiries, parts only sales, and support the service team with estimate generation, part research, shipping/receiving, and purchasing. The Inside Sales position will work closely with Outside Sales, the Service Team, and Upper Management, with the goal of increasing revenue and providing excellent customer service. The ideal candidate will have a wide knowledge base of marine systems and will be capable of putting together estimates, including appropriate parts/ system components and labor.
Skills & Knowledge:
- Experience working a Structured Sales Program

- Understanding of CRM, and how to track in ERP

- Marketing Campaigns
- Able to work with ERP software, Microsoft Products, and Web Based Vendor Portals
- Must be fully proficient with computer software/navigation (office is PC/ Windows based)
- Existing Knowledge of Marine Systems and Integration: Electronics, Electrical, Water Systems, Hydraulics, HVAC/Heat, etc.
- Marine Brand Familiarization (Garmin, Furuno, Raymarine, Matreon, Flir, Etc)
- Self-motivated and able to increase knowledge based on products/systems/S3 Procedure
- Able to use Vendor Portals and Vendor Price lists
- Understanding of Margin versus Mark Up
- Able to apply discounts appropriately
- Able to read system drawings/diagrams to identify parts/ part numbers

- Use ERP software to manage incoming sales requests
- Job Costing & Project Reporting
- Accurate Time Keeping

- Customer and Vendor Management
- Assist Service Team with Shipping and Receiving
- Parts Inventory and Integration with Purchasing
- Professional interaction with customers
- Support Trade Shows throughout the year
