Job Summary:
The Inside Sales Representative has proven to be a critical component to the sales team as customers expect faster, seamless service. The primary function will be to ensure customer needs are anticipated and met with the highest level of satisfaction. This requires acting as a liaison with customers and other departments within the company to track new orders, delays, and address current customer needs at the highest expectation.
Responsibilities:
- Spearhead Account Management and grow business with access control, gate, and door automation customers.
- Be effective and resourceful in managing customer needs engaging across departments, and with vendors as needed.
- Understand customer needs and act as an advocate for customer solutions within the company.
- Manages customer issues by identifying, resolving, and escalating (directly to vendors) if necessary.
- Working with Outside Sales on qualified opportunities for further development.
- Strategically look to expand sales, including leading outbound calling campaigns and company initiatives with the team.
- Provide actionable feedback from the customers on promotions, products, and services.
- Expand online orders; coordinate with marketing to continuously improve the platforms Goal is to have 60% of sales going through online platform.
- Stay informed of new products, company services, and partner with Marketing on promotions.
- Strive for expert knowledge of product applications and solutions.
- Achieve personal sales and service goals.
- Track discrepancies between customer orders and orders placed/produced.
Requirements:
- Must be a technical expert of products, electrical and mechanical systems.
- Great customer service, verbal and written communication skills.
- Demonstrated time management and organization skills.
- Constant business strategic thinking; understands the organizations strengths and weaknesses.
- Have a well-established personal credibility.
- Advanced degree or 3-4 years of comparable experience in a client and/or customer service-oriented position.
- Prior experience in a client-facing role as an Account Representative desired.
- Demonstrated ability to work well with peers, make sound decisions, and appropriately respond to difficult situations.
- Experience with an inside sales environment

Pay: $24.00 - $27.00 per hour
