Job Description

As Area Head of Marketing/Business Development, you will be responsible for all aspects of TrueMed marketing and Business Development including establishing, maintaining and cultivating positive referral source relationships to achieve the locations budgeted admissions and census, while also responding to customer requests and concerns.

• Develops a defined territory of referral sources targeting hospitals, skilled nursing facilities, senior communities, medical clinics, and physicians to generate admissions to meet or exceed targeted monthly goals.
• Generates appropriate referrals to TrueMed from current and new customers within territory.
• Continuously conducts market assessments and assists in developing a comprehensive marketing plan designed to meet budgetary volume projections and identifying opportunities for additional or improved services to address customer needs.
• Generates marketing and promotional initiatives to achieve budgetary volume projections.
• Facilitates communications and works effectively between employees / volunteers, patients / families / caregivers, physicians, vendors, referral sources and other departments and professionals as appropriate.
• Consistently represents TrueMed with integrity and professionalism to all internal and external and current and potential customers.
• Assists with and participates in provision of community, professional and educational outreach activities.
• Builds and monitors community and market perceptions of TrueMed as a high-quality provider of services.
• Actively participates in staff meetings, department meetings, in-services, QAPI activities, Safety Committee and other related activities as applicable.
• Provides reports on time in an organized and correct manner to direct supervisor as requested.

Qualifications Required:

• Required marketing experience in medical home healthcare or in acute/post-acute case management and discharge planning. (3 years or more).
• Established connections in healthcare community of Greater Sacramento and surrounding areas
• Excellent communication skills, autonomy, assertiveness
• Ability to manage payer mix of patients.
• Ability to market aggressively and deal tactfully with customers and the community.
• Must have reliable transportation and current drivers license.
• Knowledge of current health care environment.
