Hilliard Office Solutions is hiring for a Technology Sales Consultant for the Midland Texas region.
The Technology Sales Consultant generates IT (information technology) sales and business, develops relationships with new clients, makes sales visits and presentations, maintains advanced knowledge of products and services, and establishes and meets sales goals.
Responsibilities:
- Become an expert in Hilliards ever-growing products and services.
- Execute upon appropriate phases of the Sales Qualification Process
- Develops and expands a portfolio of corporate clients by networking and marketing
- Assesses client IT needs and makes recommendations, including IT equipment and service packages
- Prepares sales visits and presentations to pitch product, service, and combination packages to clients
- Demonstrates IT equipment to highlight product benefits
- Negotiates sales and long-term contracts with clients
- Provides technical advice after sales
- Establishes sales goals and implements a plan to meet those goals
- Tracks progress toward goals and documents sales performance
- Becomes fluent in all products and services offered by Hilliard through testing, training, and research
- Answers questions, describes benefits, and discusses pros and cons of various competing products or services
- Gains familiarity with the IT industry, and stays updated on trends and innovative products
- Creates marketing literature and web-based features to promote products and time-sensitive sales
- Attends trade exhibitions and industry events to learn about cutting-edge products and sales
- Lead customers through new product Onboarding (eval, setup, training, setting proper expectations)
- Act as an advocate and voice of the company for internal teams, Product, Service, and Marketing
- Expected travel up to 25-50%
Qualifications/Requirements:
Customer Relations
- Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain strong business relationships.
- Superior communication, presentation, time management, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to structure and lead meetings in-person and on the phone.
Technical Savvy:
- Technical aptitude in server & network monitoring and desktop maintenance activities would be helpful
- Ability to learn and adapt rapidly to new technology across the full breadth of the Continuum platform and offerings is a requirement
- Experience with CRM software, like Salesforce, is a plus.

Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $65,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
Commissions: $50,000 - $70,000 at plan
