Sales Director
JK Executive Strategies has partnered exclusively with a well-respected insurance brokerage in its search for a Sales Director to join its Rochester, New York team! The Sales Director will initiate new business and assist with managing a current client roster, by using a consultative sales approach to attract and retain clients. Responsibilities:
- Proactively prospect and generate new business appointments through networking and other sources of prospecting to attract and retain new clients.
- Engage companies on all aspects of their Employee Benefits program including health insurance, non-medical products, HR services, compliance and regulations regarding the arena of Employee Benefits.
- Attend and actively participate in agency new business development meetings.
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with referral partners.
- Continue professional development (i.e., keep current with industry changes, continuous sales development, pursue professional designations, etc.).
- Maintain appropriate license requirements.
- Manage all client inquiries as required for resolution.
- Complete client enrollment/renewal administration for client. This includes presentations, and enrollment meetings.
- Work with carriers to implement appropriate coverage for clients.
- Achieve and sustain 100% client satisfaction in assigned accounts by managing client expectations according to the committed services agreement.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree, required.
- Life Accident Health (LAH) licenses, required.
- 3+ years of relevant experience, required.
- Experience must include servicing new and renewal business large accounts, including but not limited to quoting and proposal creation.
- Must have a positive can-do attitude, possess a passion for building relationships and be a self- starter who regularly demonstrates initiative.
- Impeccable communication and presentation skills.
- High degree of self-motivation, follow through, and drive.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point, and Outlook.
Salary:
- $80k -$120k (Not including incentives / commission)
