Harrell Design + Build's HarrellCARE Department is is looking for a Full-Time Small Projects Sales / Estimator person for existing and new clients. Must have 10 years of comprehensive residential construction experience, good at identifying problems and implementing solutions, great interpersonal skills, great communicator, is computer literate (can use email, excel, word), is open to learning new processes and procedures.

- The ability to demonstrate excellence during the interview process

- Sales experience with a record of closing high-cost construction bids

- Detailed oriented and understand residential construction and remodeling

- Experience compiling detailed estimates with accuracy

- A portfolio of work, or the ability to demonstrate knowledge

- A reliable personal vehicle to use for site visits

- Detail oriented mentality with the ability to self-motivate and manage workflow

- The ability to collaborate with others and work within a project team

- Understanding of both project and construction management

- Initial clients contact and communication throughout the project.

- Identifying and solving the needs of the client.

- Collaborate with clients and the occasional designer to define a detailed scope of work.

- Estimate projects and write contract specifications based on agreed upon SOW. Review with production team prior to presentation to clients.

- Manage the schedule of the sales process including drawings, permits, contract writing, baton meetings, etc.

- Weekly meetings with the Production team for updates and scheduling on current and upcoming projects.

- Assist the production team with change orders as needed.

- Act as a champion for the company and our clients.

- Document projects from design through project completion with the production team

- Maintain contact with the Project Manager throughout the job for adherence to the SOW, drawings, permits, and client satisfaction.

- Review completed projects with the Project Manager and Department Manager.

- Maintain and support company policies and procedures.

- Client follow-up and gaining referrals.

- Keeping current with building codes.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $70,000.00 - $82,000.00 per year
