National Sales Manager
Creative Brands is an owned subsidiary of CBC Group with a portfolio of six highly recognizable gift brands. (Santa Barbara Design Studio, Slant Collections, 47th & Main, Stephan Baby, Bella Sleep + Spa and Faithworks). We are seeking a talented and experienced National Sales Manager for our brands to join our dynamic team of creative minds who are redefining the gift industry with distinctive home dcor, drinkware, stationery, and jewelry products.
Position Overview
We are looking for someone who is equally passionate about product as they are about the design and have a broad experience in rep sales in this wonderful gift industry. Our ideal candidate is someone with an interest in gift and home dcor that instinctively knows what retailers want and how to make the buying experience both easy and efficient.
This role requires highly proficient people skills, an eye for detail and experience in managing sales and customer service teams that not only requires productivity but clearly knows the aspects of running a profitable business unit. Ability to work efficiently in a deadline driven environment, is highly organized and frequently strives for detailed, polished, and complete results. We are looking for someone who is comfortable working solo in the zone as well as in a brainstorming group or creative sales session. People who are a good fit for us are ego-free with a strong work ethic, an enterprising spirit, and a cheerful outlook.
Responsibilities
- Travel to the Atlanta, Dallas, and Las Vegas gift show twice a year.
- Deliver inspiring customer centric product training with participating independent reps and rep principles across the country either in person or on Zoom!
- Stay current with market trends in home dcor, gift, and fashion.
- Manage in order to grow sales revenue and increase market share amongst independent retailers.
- Answer rep questions in writing both quickly and definitively.
- Create, promote, and distribute sales tools that can summarize best sellers, new product and future releases that will effectively engage our sales force to optimize sales.
- Format, interpret, and distribute MS Excel commission statements and customer lists to reps and sales agencies.
- Travel with key sales representatives on customer visits as a measure to offer sales tips and training.
- Navigate the competitive landscape of multi-line rep agencies to assure Creative Brands catalogs are front of mind.
Qualifications
- Initiative-taker with effective communication skills.
- Previous experience as a high performing Manager/Sales Rep in the territory for Gift, Home, and Apparel lines.
- A driven work-ethic and enterprising spirit.
- Energetic, professional appearance.
- Top-notch selling skills.
- Proven history of successfully meeting sales quotas, in person and virtually.
- Strong computer skills including Excel and video conferencing.
- Ability to learn new systems quickly.
- Ability to lead, motivate, and bring out the best for our sales team.
- Critical thinking--know the difference between recognizing a problem and solving a problem.

Education and Experience
- College degree in business, economics psychology is a plus.
- Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Photo Shop is viewed favorably but not a requirement.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel is necessary.
