Sales/Design Consultant

Spacemakers Closets is a regionally owned custom closet and storage solutions company that designs, sells, and installs custom storage solutions including walk-in closets, entertainment units, pantries, bookcases, and garages. We work with exclusive materials, and hardware that bring solutions and ideas to life based on the clients parameters and utilize creative problem solving to add more time, space, and peace in their lives. Our sales/design consultants are enthusiastic, work on their own, uncapped commissions and manage their own schedule within the given work week.

Duties:

- In home consultations that includes accurate measurements and site surveys

- Collaborate with clients to understand their design needs and preferences

- Create and price innovative, visually appealing, and functional designs using a closet software program

- Utilize our flagship showroom to upsell products and services to maximize sales opportunities

- Communicate and follow up effectively with clients to ensure their satisfaction throughout the design process and installation

- Maintain the CRM system with up to date, accurate and detailed designs

- Achieve a 50% closing rate within 90 days

- Contact builders/professional groups (architects, designers, real estate agents, interior designers etc.) to self-generate leads

Qualifications

- Strong customer service skills with the ability to build rapport and establish long-term relationships

- Minimum 5-year sales experience is required

- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written

- Design software experience is a plus, but not required

- Reliable transportation/insurance

- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously

- Full time availability

- Detail oriented

- Adheres to all company policies, procedures, and business ethics codes

- Attains a high level of performance in areas of persona character, commitment, organizational and selling skills and work habits
