Across International is a leading ISO 9001 science-based company that manufactures laboratory/Medical equipment. We are a rapidly growing company with an excellent opportunity for a candidate interested in our Inside Sales Associate position.

Core Responsibilities

• Manage inbound calls in a polite, professional manner.
• Respond promptly to customer inquiries through phone, e-Mail, etc.
• Process inbound orders, forms, applications, and requests in a timely manner.
• Provide pricing and delivery information to customers. E-Mail all tracking and receipts promptly.
• Accurately identify and assess customer needs.
• Build and maintain sustainable relationships of trust through open and proactive communication.
• Handle complaints and provide appropriate solutions and alternatives within reasonable time limits. Follow up to ensure an adequate resolution has been provided.
• Keep records of customer interactions, process customer accounts, and file any relevant documents in the correct locations.
• Set up new customer accounts in our online database system.
• Prioritize workflow to meet customer time frames.
• Direct requests and unresolved issues to the designated resources to be resolved. Follow up as necessary.
• Record accurate, detailed information regarding all inquiries, comments and complaints, as well as actions taken.
• Provide feedback on the efficiency of the customer service process.
• Be a flexible team player.

Education

Associate Degree or above is required for this job.

Skills/Knowledge

• Proficient with PC skills including, but not limited to: Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Must be customer-oriented and provide exceptional customer service.
• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail, time management, and organizational skills.
• Able to work independently within defined processes and procedures.
• Product and industry knowledge pertaining to material processing, heat treatment, and vacuum products is preferred but not required.
• A desire to learn about new products is strongly recommended.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 - $27.00 per hour
