WeldTec Designs is an Off-Road Fabrication/Aftermarket Parts Organization that specializes in Van/RV suspension and accessories. We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced full-time Sales Representative. The Sales Representative is essential in directing consumers to the best aftermarket parts for their vehicle to create their dream build. Our phone, email and online chat systems stay busy daily as a result of our in house marketing department. We are looking for a creative, out of the box thinking individual, who can help us grow our sales department and explore new sales opportunities. You will be handling a high volume of incoming phone calls, required to keep a call log, greeting clients and visitors, as well as managing files, updating paperwork and other documents.
In order for you to be selected as a candidate, you will need the ability to write clearly and be proficient with word processing applications as well as have a valid drivers license. A pleasing personality with strong communication skills is also highly valued.
Responsibilities:
- Greet and direct customers via phone, chat and in person
- Provide accurate information (e.g. product features, pricing and after-sales services)
- Answer customers questions about specific products/services
- Cross-sell products and advise on common upsells
- Manage returns of merchandise
- Provide customer feedback to your supervisor
- Accurately schedule customer installs as well as receiving payment
- Stay up-to-date with new products/services
- Monitor industry competitors, new products and market conditions
- Reach out to customer leads through social media channels, email, phone calls
- Expedite the resolution of customer problems and complaints to maximize satisfaction
- Achieve agreed upon sales targets and outcomes within schedule
- Work together with our marketing team to maximize growth
- Reports on customer needs, problems, interests, competitive activities, and potential for new products and services
- Continuously improve through feedback
- Maintain working relationships with existing clients to ensure exceptional service and identification of potential new sales opportunities
- Research and create new outside sales channels
- Communicate and assist shipping & receiving department for efficiency
- Make outbound calls to existing customers to follow up on sales leads (quotes) and close sales.
- Take inbound calls from any/all queues as needed and directed by leadership.
- Display a professional and courteous demeanor when handling customer calls
- Other duties as assigned to help all departments as a team
- Handling incoming calls and other communications.
- Managing filing system.
- Recording information as needed.
- Greeting clients and visitors as needed.
- Updating paperwork, maintaining documents and word processing.
- Maintaining office equipment as needed.
- Aiding with client reception as needed.
- Creating, maintaining, and entering information into databases.
- Learning all of the products that we carry in order to assist with shipping & helping assist customers over the phone.
Basic Qualifications:
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
- Experienced in sales and B2B sales, within our industry preferred.
- Knowledge of QuickBooks preferred and comfortable with inventory management.
- Must possess a current and valid driver license with a driving record that meets the insurability guidelines set forth by the companys insurance carrier.
- Auto parts knowledge is a plus.
- Experience as an office assistant or in related field.
- Ability to write clearly and help with word processing when necessary.
- Warm personality with strong communication skills.
- Ability to work well under limited supervision.
- Great communication skills.
$21 an hour. DOE considerations will be made for higher pay.
