We are seeking a knowledgeable and customer-focused Flooring Sales Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for flooring, excellent sales skills, and a strong commitment to customer service.

Schedule: Tuesday to Saturday from 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM

Wage: Salary plus commission.

To perform this job successfully, the individual must be able to complete the following essential duties and responsibilities:

• Provide exceptional customer service to clients visiting the showroom or contacting us by phone or email.
• Assist customers in selecting the right flooring products based on their needs, preferences, and budget.
• Educate customers about the features, benefits, and maintenance of different types of flooring materials.
• Measure and estimate the amount of flooring materials needed for each project.
• Generate price quotes and negotiate terms of sale.
• Coordinate with installers and other team members to ensure timely and accurate delivery and installation of flooring products.
• Follow up with customers after the sale to ensure their satisfaction and address any concerns or issues.
• Keep abreast of industry trends, new products, and competitor offerings.
• Showroom organization and various related tasks as needed.

Competencies

• Self-motivated with the ability to work under little supervision.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Must be able to exercise independent judgment and demonstrate solid time management and organizational skills.
• Previous experience in flooring sales is a must.
• Strong sales skills and a proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of different types of flooring materials, including hardwood, laminate, tile, and carpet.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proficiency in computer applications such as MS Office and CRM software.
• Willingness to work weekends and evenings as needed.

Experience And Knowledge Required

• Minimum education required High School Diploma or GED.
• Minimum experience required 3 year in flooring sales industry with basic knowledge of product and application.
• 3+ years Inside sales experience required.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $37,500.00 - $48,000.00 per year
