Valyou furniture is a leading furniture e-commerce brand, with a goal to make trendy furniture affordable.

We are looking for a Facebook marketplace seller with experience to help sell our overstock /returns on Facebook marketplace. This is position is onsite at our Honolulu Showroom.

This position is hourly + Bonuses!

As a Furniture Sales Specialist on Facebook Marketplace, you will be responsible for promoting and selling our furniture products to potential customers in the local community. Your primary objective is to engage with buyers, showcase the furniture offerings, and close sales transactions efficiently. By leveraging your exceptional communication and customer service skills, you will create a positive shopping experience for customers while driving revenue growth for our furniture business.

Responsibilities:

Furniture Sales: List, market, and sell a variety of furniture items on Facebook Marketplace, ensuring accurate product descriptions, high-quality images, and competitive pricing.

Customer Engagement: Engage with prospective buyers in a courteous, helpful, and prompt manner. Answer inquiries, provide additional product details, and address any customer concerns professionally.

Upselling and Cross-Selling: Identify opportunities to upsell and cross-sell related furniture products based on customers' preferences and needs, maximizing revenue potential.

Negotiation and Closing: Skillfully negotiate with customers to achieve mutually beneficial pricing and terms. Close sales efficiently and finalize transactions securely.

Product Knowledge: Develop a comprehensive understanding of our furniture products, including features, materials, and specifications, to effectively communicate value to potential buyers.

Customer Service: Offer exceptional customer service throughout the sales process, including assisting with delivery arrangements, addressing post-purchase questions, and handling any potential issues with empathy and efficiency.

Market Research: Stay informed about the local furniture market trends, competitor pricing, and customer preferences to adjust strategies and pricing accordingly.

Sales Reporting: Maintain accurate records of sales activities, leads, and outcomes, providing regular reports to the management team.

Ad Creation: Collaborate with the marketing team to create eye-catching and persuasive advertisements for furniture listings on Facebook Marketplace.

Safe Transactions: Follow best practices to ensure secure and safe transactions between buyers and sellers, fostering trust in the marketplace community.

Qualifications:

Sales Experience: Proven track record in sales, preferably in the furniture industry or a related field. Experience with online marketplaces, especially Facebook Marketplace, is a plus.

Furniture Knowledge: Familiarity with furniture styles, materials, and trends, enabling you to confidently guide customers in their purchase decisions.

Customer-Centric Approach: Strong interpersonal and customer service skills, with the ability to build rapport, address customer needs, and resolve issues effectively.

Negotiation Skills: Proficiency in negotiation techniques to achieve favorable outcomes for both the customer and the company.

Tech-Savvy: Comfortable using digital tools and platforms for listing, promoting, and managing furniture sales on Facebook Marketplace.

Organization and Time Management: Effective time management skills to handle multiple leads, inquiries, and transactions simultaneously while meeting sales targets.

Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, conveying product information and value propositions clearly and convincingly.

Local Market Knowledge: Awareness of the local community, customer preferences, and market dynamics to tailor sales approaches accordingly.
