Landscape Industry Account Manager
Essential Functions:
Sales & Client Retention: 40%
- Contribute to the creation and attainment of company goals, while adhering to the mission statement and core values.
- Maintain relationships with all assigned clients to ensure satisfaction and promote sales and referrals.
- Anticipate client needs by preparing estimates and proposals and negotiating sales across all company services. (Should be proactive vs. reactive)
- Trained and knowledgeable about all services provided by the company.
- Initiate client meetings according to standard frequency for reviewing current and future seasonal property plans.
- Monthly communication with each assigned client
- Write, sell, and manage the renewal of maintenance agreements, with support from admin.
- Represent the company in a responsible and professional manner at all times.
- Meet or exceed accepted client retention goal of 95% or higher.
Production: 40%
- Build relationships with clients to create and facilitate their vision for the planting of seasonal color, shrub replacements, container revisions, and general landscape enhancements.
- Communicate expectations for the installation and maintenance processes to clients; and assist the installation and maintenance teams with the management and completion of projects.
- Communicate with the Maintenance and Enhancement Manager regarding significant problems on any accounts, the response plan, and the resolution.
- Provide written task plan, including pictures, for Enhancement Manager and enhancement teams for client requested service items.
- Take ownership of the overall health of the clients landscape by managing service items, horticulture, client requests and watering plan.
- Monthly and/or Quarterly site visits for quality control.
Administrative: 15%
- Prepare proposals, estimates and, upon approval, give to proper production teams with expected timelines.
- Review and analyze reports and metrics to drive company goals.
- Provide timely and professional responses to internal and external communication through all formats (email, phone, text, written)
- Document property conditions through pictures. Use LMN software to create action plans and provide progress updates regarding property concerns.
- Maintain digital client and job information files in LMN to include grass (type and square footage) and landscape & bed square footage; as well as specific notes about the property that show a personal knowledge of the clients needs.
- Compile, review, provide updates and approvals of necessary paperwork (e.g., invoices, client lists, summary reports, client agreements and proposals) in an accurate and timely manner.
- Approve daily time tracking per client in the time tracking program.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft office programs, including the creation and maintenance of spreadsheets, and reporting tools in Excel.
- Proficiency in written communication.

Job Specifications/Qualifications
- High School Diploma / GED
- College Degree in Landscape / Horticulture (preferred)
- Valid Drivers License with clean MVR
- Bilingual (Spanish), not required, but a plus
- Prior experience with LMN software also a plus
This position is full-time, and includes competitive base pay plus commission. We offer a
