Full description of the position

The company is a major Japanese manufacturer that serves in various industries, including electric power, data communications, automotive, electronics manufacturing, medical devices, and more.

Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of accounts to achieve short/long-term success
• Act as the point of contact and handle customers individual needs
• Set and track sales target, aligned with company/group objectives
• Develop business for new customers and markets
• Coordinate and process sales and orders of ESG products
• Provide product information including pricing, specifications, availability, delivery, etc. to current and prospective customers.
• Negotiate pricing with related vendors and customers while maintaining positive relationships and communication.
• Monitor customers situation carefully and take necessary actions. (including financial and overdue payment matters)
• Provide monthly report to group manager to update and summarize major ongoing projects and new inquiries

Qualifications

• Fluent in Japanese and English
• College degree in a business or technical major.
• Min. 3 years sales or business development experience.
• English and Japanese oral and written communication skills.
• Computer/IT literacy in Microsoft Word/Excel/Powerpoint and other web basis tools.
• Domestic/International travel required.
• Valid US Driver license.
