BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT REPRESENTATIVE HEALTHCARE AND EDUCATION SECTORS

Were looking for a successful Business Development Representative to develop new business, targeting healthcare and education sectors. This position is responsible for identifying market opportunities and increasing the quality of leads. The candidate must establish and maintain strong relationships with individuals that have influences in our target markets, and current and prospective clients regarding product and service offerings, company, and industry initiatives.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Identify and develop new sales opportunities within assigned territory.
• Perform calls and schedule meetings with potential clients.
• Maintain proficiency in products and services and appropriately position our solutions against the competition.
• Work within a team environment to implement territory strategies to identify and secure prospective customers.
• Review RFPs prior to Management review to qualify them.
• Gather market intelligence on RFPs to develop a tailored response.

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:

• Bachelor's degree in business, marketing or sales (additional equivalent experience above the required minimum may substitute for the required level of education).
• 5+ years of experience in sales/business development (additional equivalent education above the required minimum may substitute for the required level of experience).
• Must have experience in the healthcare and education sectors, public and private.
• Proven track record of developing new business.
• Excellent ability to articulate Paramounts value proposition and offerings.
• Demonstrated initiative / personal drive in accurately identifying and qualifying leads.
• Ability to network with clients key decision makers.
• Ability to manage multiple clients.
• Ability to multi-task, prioritize and manage time effectively.
• Excellent planning / systematic organization skills to conduct calls and follow up on meetings.
• Ability to think strategically.
• Strong relationship-building and negotiation skills.
• Ability to work cross-functionally and as part of a team.

Willingness to travel up to 50%.
