Our most successful Laboratory Vacuum Technical Sales Representatives have worked in the laboratory or physics industry selling capital equipment for a few years while developing strong relationships with their end users, developing OEM partnerships, and understanding the technical needs of their client. If you have the desire to continue to partner your love of science, mechanics, and inquiry with the ability to spend your days working with researchers, other sales partners, and matching our outstanding products with scientists, then you might be an ideal candidate!
Responsibilities
Provides support to end users and dealer personnel in the form of demonstrations of products, shows, lead follow-up, lead generation, product quoting, and product expertise.
Develops proficiency in supporting BrandTech vacuum products including explaining the detailed operation to OEM customers, A&E/Design firms, end users and dealer personnel, and performing basic service on BrandTech vacuum products.
Provides support to OEM customers, A&E/Design firms, end users, and dealer personnel in the form of demonstrations of products, shows, lead follow-up, lead generation, product quoting, and product expertise.
Familiar with selling through a dealer organization and on a direct basis with OEM customers, A&E/Design firms, and end users.
Understands the selling cycle as it pertains to capital equipment and consumable sales.
Understands basic physics, chemistry, and life science applications that relate to the value proposition from our portfolio.
Maintains current customer and dealer files by updating Customer Relationship Management Software (CRM) with up-to-date records at accounts in the reps territory along with general changes in our industry.
Develops and maintains strong relationships with internal Sales Managers, Inside Sales Representatives, and Peers while working together as a team to achieve Regional and Company Sales Targets.
Maintains working business relationships OEM account management and customer management, including, but not limited, to product management, sales management and design personnel, research directors, and principal investigators.
Qualifications
Direct technical equipment sales experience is required while dealer sales experience is a plus. A BA/BS in chemical or mechanical engineering, chemistry, or physics is strongly preferred. This territory is based out of the greater Seattle and will have responsibility for sales in the Western part of the USA. Overnight travel is approximately 25% - 50% of the time with a majority of that travel to California. Compensation DOE.

Salary: $130,000.00 - $165,000.00 per year
