Job description
Busy multi-line insurance agency seeks energetic insurance sales producers with competitive drive and spirit to join a fast-paced insurance sales department. As an insurance sales producer you will work with a dynamic team of other insurance sales producers that share your desire to compete and win. We pay a competitive base with a generous commission structure that works well for those who are disciplined and follow our proven sales process.
This position is designed to transition to our Protg program where you work for a mentor agent learning how to run an agency from top to bottom. After successful completion of the program you will then be eligible for several different paths to Agency ownership.

The Day-to-Day:
- Prospect for new business by following up on sales leads generated from referrals, networking, marketing, and lead databases.
- Develop insurance quotes, make sales presentations, and close sales.
- Thoroughly understand and follow all underwriting, rating and compliance requirements.
- Meet new business production goals and objectives as established.
- Maintain client relationships through follow up phone calls and continued contact.
- Foster strong relationships with our clients to maintain a high level of client retention and product loyalty.
- Effectively present and explain insurance policy options based upon prospective client needs and their personal goals.
Job Requirements:
- Possess a genuine willingness to learn, be intuitive, resourceful, and coachable.
- Possess an upbeat, positive, and enthusiastic attitude.
- Proficiency to multi-task, follow-thru, and follow-up.
- Confident, self-starter who works well independently.
- Excellent spelling and grammar.
- Works well with other employees and is a team player with a positive attitude.
- Be able to obtain or currently possess a Property & Casualty insurance license (We will help the right candidate with the licensing process).
- Previous work experience in sales, marketing, promotions is preferred but not required.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $48,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
