Inside Sales Representative (Building Science/Energy Efficiency w/ Customer Service)

Inside Sales Representative (Building Science/Energy Efficiency w/ Customer Service)

Job Responsibilities

As an Inside Sales Representative for Energy Efficient Solutions, you will work from our offices to make sales, managing customer accounts and creating lasting professional relationships. You will also offer some customer service for our technical products via email and phone conversations, ensuring our customers satisfaction at all times.

Additional responsibilities for the Inside Sales Representative include:

Offering your input on sales & marketing strategies and avenues

Reporting to senior management on the highest profile customer support issues

Ensuring team success, helping out where needed

Job Requirements

As an Inside Sales Representative for Energy Efficient Solutions, you must be a talented conversationalist with technical knowledge in Building Science, Building Performance and/or Construction. Furthermore, we are seeking a candidate who thinks analytically, is highly organized, thorough, and is able to work with others to achieve a common goal. This role requires you to be a quick learner.

Additional requirements of the Inside Sales Associate include:

A Bachelors degree from a 4-year accredited college or university in a technical field, preferred

3.5+ cumulative GPA, preferred

BPI/HERS certification and/or BPI Building Science Principles Certificate or BPI Building Analyst Certification, preferred

3 years previous sales experience, preferred

Ability to meet and exceed monthly, quarterly and annual sales quotas

Proficiency with Microsoft Office as well as the Internet and email

Effective Communication Skills

Experience with Email Marketing Campaigns, HTML, ASP, or PHP, a plus

Experience with SEO-optimized web page copy or website conversion rate optimization techniques, a plus

Ability to wear several hats and get your hands dirty every now and again!
