Job Description
We are looking for an organized, detailed oriented individual with strong work ethic for newly open Sales Administrative Assistant position. This role will primarily process new sales, assist in building quotes, answer phones, filing and at times assist with client service requests. Training provided.
Qualifications:
- Ideal candidate will possess 2 years of experience as an Administrative Support. Computer skills, data entry skills and Internet research skills are required.
- This is an excellent position for a detailed-oriented, well-organized, self-motivated individual who can multi-task, take on additional projects and work in a fast-paced and rapidly changing sales, customer service and operations environment.
- Operates multi-positioned telephone switchboard to relay incoming, outgoing, and inner-office calls, and performs other tasks related to communication.
- Processing of new sales with database management skills
- Sorts and distributes mail and other inter-office materials necessary.
- Maintaining and handling a neat and organized work area with providing appropriate sales forms, marketing materials and brochures. Printing and delivering incoming faxes to the appropriate departments.
- Additional job responsibilities may include but are not limited to word processing, data entry, filing and sorting, and Internet research tasks.
Requirements:
- Requires a high school diploma or equivalent to 2 years Receptionist/Administrative experience.
- Excellent customer service and listening skills.
- Works well in a team environment; demonstrates willingness to follow instructions, abide by company policies and is always respectful and professional.
- Knowledge and experience with computer and software skills that includes Intermediate/Advanced and Proficiency in MS Word, MS Excel, MS Power Point and MS Outlook.
- Proficient at task prioritization, multi-Tasker, and balancing several competing interests and goals simultaneously.
- Flexible, innovative, creative, reliable, dependable, and motivated
- Attention to detail, accuracy, accountability, and confidentiality crucial.
- Strong oral and written communication, customer service, time-management, team building, alpha/numerical filing, and organizational skills
- Empathize with customers, demonstrate patience, and handle difficult complaints, escalations, and delicate situations.
