Nestled within a magnificent stand of white pines on the sparkling waters of Schroon Lake, The Lodge at Schroon Lake offers the authentic Adirondacks experience from the comfort of a cozy lakeside resort. Our 36-acre Lodge at Schroon Lake in New York's Adirondacks is perfect for outdoor adventurers and active families. With features like an indoor swimming pool, variety of sports courts, and prime lakeside real estate, theres no shortage of things to do in every season. Our resort reopened in June of 2023 after undergoing extensive renovations, but our oldest building still dates back to 1917. Come be part of our future while celebrating the great history that exists at our resort.

The Director of Sales (DOS) is responsible for ramping up this new hotel, prospecting for new opportunities, establishing rates, negotiations, and maintenance of all accounts. Also, creating relationships with local companies as well as digging into every market segments, ensuring that revenues meet or exceed budgets, developing a growing mix of business that enhances the hotel's value and ultimate bottom line. As part of the revenue team, the DOS is responsible for all booking and group revenue decisions made in the best interest of the property. This position supports, supervises, and develops the Sales Managers/Catering Managers and Coordinators to enable them to work independently and as a team successfully in their area of expertise. This is a selling position.

Benefits and pay range:

Salary range of $90,000-$105,000 a year plus bonus potential

Experience / Education:

5 years hotel & sales experience needed. Must have strong background in hotel sales. Must be very knowledgeable with social media, digital media and content management. College education and/or equivalent work experience; Delphi.fdc a plus. Must have strong writing and communication skills. Hotel opening experience preferred.
