Full description of the position

We are looking for trainable individuals with previous sales, phone, and computer skills to work independently with minimal supervision. We will provide extensive training on our products and empower you to become an expert in the applications these products are used for. You will not be making phone calls to unknown entities, but to existing and longstanding clients. Once trained you will be expected to cross sell and upsell our broad range of products.

Our veteran sales team have all been here 10+ years and will assist with any questions you may have during the training process. Our company has been in this line of work for over 40 years and have deep knowledge and a proven track record of success selling these products.

Customer service is what separates our company from our competitors, and we will expect all applicants to be comfortable speaking on the phone, composing emails, and tracking your conversations in our custom database. We will provide you with all you need to be successful if you bring drive, desire, and initiative to the position.

Again, no cold calling. Your role will primarily be calling existing contacts from our database and practicing your product knowledge and sales skills. Asking the right questions is the key to success and we will train you to ask the right ones. You will carefully track each conversation and enter information into our database, such that we can have a clear understanding of the present and potential future needs of a client.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Learn products and product applications.
  • Qualify sales leads using questions provided.
  • Document valuable information into CRM/database.
  • Make outbound calls
  • Customer service
  • Order processing
  • Customer problem-solving.

EXPERIENCE

  • Prior sales or customer service experience is preferred.
  • Typing and data entry proficiency are necessary.
  • Prior sales training is a plus, but training will be provided.

SKILLS & ABILITIES:

  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Outlook.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking skills.
  • A high degree of reliability, professionalism, and the ability to independently with minimal supervision.
