Shorelight Real Estate is a rapidly growing owner, operator and developer of apartment communities throughout Massachusetts ([please apply online] We currently have a portfolio of over a dozen communities in Massachusetts, with a concentration in the greater Worcester Market, ranging in size from 30 to 150 units and are seeking an experienced Property Manager to join our dynamic and entrepreneurial team. We are looking for someone to both manage properties within the existing portfolio as well as be an integral part of the continued growth and expansion efforts of the company.
Property Managers are responsible for maintaining our communities to a market-ready standard while ensuring a high level of service. Property Managers are responsible for building and maintaining relationships with office employees, vendors, contractors, and municipalities to maximize the performance of the properties.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Ensuring the smooth running of our communities in a fast-paced environment. Overseeing all operations including maintenance, capital improvements, lease administration, budgeting, forecasting, reporting, collections, evictions, vacancy anticipation, marketing, lease renewals, service contracts, expense control, audits, etc.
- Providing superior customer service and communication to our residents and prospects to enhance customer satisfaction and increase renewals, revenue, reputation, and profitability. Complete lease/renewal paperwork to ensure completion to company standards.
- Assisting in planning and implementing capital improvements and branding efforts across the portfolio.
- Developing, mentoring, leading, and managing a high-performing, cohesive team, including maintenance and leasing personnel, to maximize their engagement and performance.
- Driving revenues through analysis of the markets and competitive properties within the regions we operate.
- Supervise day-to-day operations of entire on-site team, ensuring that all company policies and procedures are being followed.
- Maintain residents files in accordance with companys standards.
- Maintain a positive living environment for community residents through prompt conflict resolution and consistent follow-up.
- Manage and maintain all aspects of overall community budgets and finances.
- Maintain positive relations with all community vendors, prospects, residents and team members.
- Conduct on-site visits to each property in their portfolio at least weekly to ensure that company procedures are being followed, the property is being maintained at the companys standards, and tenant concerns and inquiries are being answered in a timely manner.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
- High school diploma or equivalent required, Bachelors degree preferred
- 3-5+ years of property management experience
- Experience in supervisory role and managing staff
- Experience writing and maintaining budgets, and other property management financial tracking
- Proficient in Appfolio property management software or other similar property management software
SALARY AND BONUS:
This is a salaried position with the potential for annual bonuses based on individual and Company performance. In addition to the opportunity to be a part of this highly successful group, benefits include health coverage, paid vacation and sick time.

Pay: From $77,270.00 per year
