PlayPower is seeking a dynamic Inside Sales Representative to join our team focused on promoting and selling indoor play experiences. As an Inside Sales Representative, you will be responsible for generating leads, reaching out to potential clients, and closing sales deals to drive revenue growth for the organization. This role requires excellent communication skills, a passion for customer service, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Principal Duties & Responsibilities
1. Lead Generation: Utilize various channels such as cold calling, email campaigns, social media, and networking events to generate leads and build a robust pipeline of potential clients interested in indoor play experiences.
2. Client Outreach: Initiate contact with potential clients to introduce our indoor play facility, understand their needs, and provide tailored solutions to meet their requirements.
3. Consultative Selling: Conduct thorough needs assessments to understand the goals and objectives of potential clients, and effectively communicate the benefits and features of our indoor play offerings.
4. Sales Presentations: Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations and demonstrations to showcase the value proposition of our indoor play services, addressing client concerns and objections as needed.
5. Proposal Development: Collaborate with the sales team to create customized proposals and quotes that align with client needs and budgetary considerations.
6. Closing Deals: Negotiate terms and pricing agreements with clients, overcome objections, and close sales deals to achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets.
7. Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to foster repeat business and referrals, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
8. Sales Reporting: Maintain accurate records of sales activities, including leads, opportunities, and closed deals, using CRM software to track progress and generate reports for management review.
9. Market Research: Stay updated on industry trends, competitor offerings, and customer preferences to identify new sales opportunities and drive continuous improvement in our sales strategies.

Qualifications, Required Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities
- High School Diploma plus additional training: two year college degree preferred.
- Two years experience in telemarketing, telesales, or related sales experience.
- Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage with clients and build rapport.
- Strong negotiation and persuasion skills, with a track record of closing sales deals and achieving targets.
- Demonstrated and proven ability to understand sales processes and the lifecycle of sales from estimate to install.
- Results-oriented mindset with a proactive approach to problem-solving and achieving sales objectives.
- Excellent computer skills, including Microsoft Office products and CRM software.
- Passion for indoor play and a genuine enthusiasm for providing memorable experiences for children and families.
Travel Requirements:
- Estimated travel is 50%
Company Information and Disclaimer
Working Conditions:
Normal office environment setting or may be exposed to noise if working in or around a production area. Schedule is Monday through Friday, normal business hours. Constantly required to sit, use hands, talk, and hear. Occasionally required to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
Position Location:
Position is onsite and is to be located in Huntersville, NC Monday through Friday (8AM-5PM) and is not remote eligible. Only under special circumstance(s) will the person be allowed to work remotely and with express written consent of senior leadership.
Compensation:
Compensation for this position will be commensurate with the candidate's experience and qualifications, aligning with industry standards. The salary range is also based upon geographical market standards for the industry and position in those areas.
There is a possibility of a bonus(es) based on individual performance and merit to be paid at the sole discretion of the company, but bonus(es) are not guaranteed unless outlined in writing in the offer letter extended to the candidate selected for the position.
