What were looking for:

Dundee Manufacturing Company is looking to hire a highly motivated and coachable Customer Service and Inside Sales Associate. The Customer Service and Inside Sales Associate plays a crucial role amongst the DMC sales team. You are the liaison between our production floor and all our customers. The ideal candidate will have a CAN DO attitude to offer exceptional customer service and support to our customers. We are looking for someone who is passionate about being a good teammate and person. DMC is growing tremendously fast, and the ideal candidate would be a self-reliant and quick-thinking problem solver.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

First point of contact for all customers via phone and email.

Build and maintain strong customer relationships.

Work cooperatively with our shipping and production teams to ensure customers receive high quality products in a timely manner.

Ensure that shipment of finished goods satisfies both customer and company objectives.

Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities.

Maintain weekly sales reports and report out to leadership team.

Assists in multiple behind-the-scenes sales functions such as answering sales calls for general information, addressing and resolving customer concerns or questions, logging RFQs, sending quotes, and following up open quotes.

Communicate any changes in pricing or delivery dates to the customer in a timely fashion.

Utilize our PLEX CRM to enter all purchase orders and stay up to date on all current and past due orders.

Support our outside sales reps with any quotes, reports, and answer any questions they may have.

Collaborate with Sales Manager to accomplish department goals.

What you will need to be successful:

Advanced skills with Microsoft Office Suite.

Detailed oriented with excellent organization and time management skills

Proficiency in CRM systems

Strong computer skills and knowledge of basic telephone technology

Open to minimal travel (1-3 times annually) to customers sites, conventions, etc.

Ability to perform physical demands such as walking on the plant floor and lifting boxes up to 50 lbs.

Education and Requirements:

1-3 years of customer service and/or inside sales experience required.

Bachelors degree required.
