Overview:

Charles Ingram Lumber, a leading Mid Major Pine sawmill in the wood products industry, is looking for an upbeat and driven Sales Representative to join our sales team here in Wilmington! This motivated individual will sell our high-quality lumber at the commodity level and regularly interact with our customers, primarily via phone and email, to build and establish relationships within the industry. As one of our Sales Representatives, you will learn to leverage the laws of supply and demand while you work alongside coworkers and directly with customers to identify and meet their lumber needs. Responsibilities:

• Facilitating the order fulfillment process from order acquisition and entry through production and shipment.
• Responding to incoming inquiries and making outbound sales calls and emails to an established customer base very little, if any, cold-calling.
• Managing inventory through strategic selling.
• Establishing and maintaining daily customer contact through email and phone calls. Building on those contacts to establish rapport and hold/grow market-share.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree
• Candidate should have good communication and problem-solving skills.
• Experience working as part of a team in a competitive environment is a plus, whether it be through work, academics, or athletics.
• Candidate should be comfortable with Microsoft Office products, including but not limited to: Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.
• Experience working with Google Sheets is a plus as well.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $43,000.00 - $45,000.00 per year
