Job Description: We are currently seeking an experienced Heavy Duty Truck Vocational Salesperson who will be responsible for driving sales of our range of heavy-duty trucks to commercial clients. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in sales, particularly within the heavy-duty truck industry, and possess excellent communication and negotiation skills. The role will involve identifying prospective clients, building, and maintaining strong relationships, understanding customer needs, and effectively presenting and selling our products and services.
Responsibilities:
- Prospect, identify, and cultivate new leads and opportunities within the heavy-duty truck market.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with commercial clients, understanding their specific transportation needs and requirements.
- Present and demonstrate our range of heavy-duty trucks and associated services to potential customers.
- Negotiate sales agreements and contracts, ensuring favorable terms for both the client and the company.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including finance, logistics, and customer service, to ensure smooth and efficient delivery of products and services.
- Stay updated on industry trends, market developments, and competitor activities to inform sales strategies and tactics.
- Meet and exceed sales targets and objectives set by the company.
Requirements:
- Must have 5 years experience in heavy-duty truck sales (Volvo and Crane Carrier), with a strong track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth.
- In-depth knowledge of heavy-duty trucks, including technical specifications, features, and applications.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with clients.
- Strong negotiation and closing skills, with the ability to effectively handle objections and overcome challenges.
- Self-motivated and results-driven, with a proactive approach to sales and business development.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel as needed.
Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field preferred
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $60,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
