RV Outfitter (entry level RV sales associate)

As an RV Outfitter at RV Ready you will act as a guide and offer support to our customers as they seek to make their RV purchase. You will follow our simple process/steps so that the customer has an exceptional experience, and the company achieves its sales goals. Listening to and understanding our customer's needs, as well as building rapport and trust is ESSENTIAL.

The RV Outfitter position is a available to professionals from any industry; previous RV or auto sales experience is not preferred as we want to train for this unique positon. However previous customer service or retail sales experience is HIGHLY preferred. We are looking to train our new team of RV outfitters to provide excellent customer service and are looking for people who will enjoy selling within an upfront pricing (no pressure) sales environment. We will provide training and coaching on sales techniques and product knowledge.

Position Summary: Sells new or used RVs on premises of vehicle sales establishment by performing the following duties.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform the following satisfactorily; other duties may be assigned. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.

• Follows all Steps to a Happy RVer as trained by manager
• Greets customer on sales floor in a manner that was trained/approved by sales manager
• Helps customer with product selection (determine make, type, and quality of vehicle desired)
• Remain in close contact with sales manager throughout the interaction with customer
• Provides an interactive presentation, explains features and demonstrates RV in a manner that was trained/approved by sales manager
• Suggests optional equipment for customer to purchase
• Follow instructions, trainings and processes involving how and when internet or phone leads are to be responded to and log in CRM
• Processes the customers pre purchase paperwork, including buyers order, determine required safety equipment, credit application, computes and quotes sales price, including tax, trade-in allowance, license fee, and discount, and requirements for financing payment of vehicle on credit
• Strictly follows CRM guidelines for follow up as trained by sales manager
• Research availability of models and optional equipment using internet
• Follow work processes
• Demonstrate strong team behavior; works well with coworkers
• Perform multiple duties at the same time as sales floor can be fast paced
• Get work done well, on time, and follow the company process each time

Education/Experience:

High School Diploma (or equivalent) or higher

Language Ability:

Read, analyze and interpret business, professional, technical or governmental documents. Write reports, business correspondence and procedure manuals. Effectively present information and respond to questions from managers, customers and the public.

Mathematical Ability:

Add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals. Compute rate, ratio and percent, and draw and interpret bar graphs.

Apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

Certificates and Licenses:

Valid Drivers License

Must get a Valid California DMV Sales License before first day of work
