Full description of the position

The Multi-Family and Residential Outside Sales representative will be responsible for developing new business, servicing existing business, and minimizing lost business to achieve sales growth of assigned accounts. The customer base will be primarily multi-family developers, contractors, custom home builders, remodelers, designers, architects and those industries. The candidate will work closely with the Showroom Manager and Showroom Associates to target new business, build relationships, and grow the companys market share in the Cincinnati Metro Area. The candidate will report directly to the Showroom Manager.

Job Requirements:

• High school degree or equivalent, college degree in business related field preferred, work experience will also be considered
• 2-3 years of outside sales in a business-business setting in the Cincinnati market is preferred
• 1-2 years of experience in sales to custom home builders, remodelers, designers, etc. is preferred
• Ability to generate strong customer relationships and loyalty among ones customer base
• Ability to work in a team atmosphere to strategically market the company to certain accounts and areas of the market
• Ability to work occasional after-hours promotional events, e.g., dinners, events, etc.
• Willingness to take an active role in local organizations, including, but not limited to HBA,NARI,etc.
• Strong interpersonal skills
