Full description of the position

Sales Specialist Job Description

  • Promote Rulmeca Motorized Pulley products by responding to requests from OEM, Distributors, End Users and Manufacturers Representatives; (quote production, order entry)
  • Travel to customers in assigned territory to present and promote Rulmeca Motorized Pulley Products
  • Prepare sales quotations for customers with emphasis on maximizing contribution margin.
  • Present Product to Customer and Sales Channels on a Regular Basis
  • Perform Application Engineering
  • Assist President and Sales Manager in executing sales strategies.
  • Support and provide feedback on pricing strategies with Sales Manager
  • Build a strong working partnership with distributor network, OEM customers, and independent sales representatives to translate end market needs into actionable items.
  • Review Customer Drawings
  • Assist in identifying and prioritizing product opportunities in both top line growth and profitability improvement.
  • Assist in development of explicit, actionable sales/marketing strategies.
  • Assist President to ensure our teams (internal and external) have the training and tools to provide the best-in-class support to our customers.
  • Assist with the creation and compilation of industry- and user-focused advertising/marketing materials, (training schools, webinars, video, etc.)
  • Assist with new product introduction activities including coordinating spec information, product uploads, and training.
  • Identify key market segments and opportunities for additional sales and market share gain.
  • Assist with annual pricing strategy through understanding of market acceptance and competitive landscape.
  • Process sales orders in a timely manner.
  • Support sales and operations planning through accurate forecasting based on organic, incremental, and related growth.
  • Support product development activities through marketing scopes, costing, price positioning, channels of distribution, and go to market strategy.
  • Assist with RMA customers to ensure effective, efficient service of repairs.
  • Act as Product Expert for Distribution/Sales Channels
  • Assist with Trade Show Staffing
  • Support RMA/Service Program
  • Develop RMA Reports as needed.
  • Education Requirements
  • 1-3 years sales experience in equipment/distributor sales desired
  • Experience with Material Handling or Conveyor Components beneficial
  • 4 Year Degree in Marketing/Business, Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering beneficial
  • Work may require travel up to 50% of time
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft AX/Office 365 beneficial
  • Ability to obtain passport required

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $50,000.00 per year
