As a Commercial Account Manager, you will play a vital role in ensuring client satisfaction, managing accounts, and driving growth for our business.
Responsibilities:
Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with a portfolio of commercial insurance clients. Serve as their primary point of contact, understanding their unique insurance needs, and providing exceptional service to ensure client satisfaction.
Account Management: Oversee the entire lifecycle of commercial insurance accounts, from onboarding new clients to policy renewals and claims management. Ensure accurate and timely processing of policy changes, endorsements, and certificates of insurance.
Insurance Consulting: Collaborate with clients to assess their risk exposure and develop comprehensive insurance strategies. Provide expert advice on insurance coverage options, policy terms, and risk mitigation strategies tailored to meet clients' specific business needs.
New Business Development: Identify and pursue opportunities for organic growth within existing client accounts. Actively engage in prospecting and lead generation to acquire new clients, demonstrating a deep understanding of their industries and proposing tailored insurance solutions.
Policy Analysis and Optimization: Analyze existing insurance policies to identify coverage gaps, redundancies, and cost-saving opportunities. Collaborate with underwriters to negotiate favorable terms and conditions, ensuring clients receive the most effective and cost-efficient coverage.
Market Research and Compliance: Stay updated on industry trends, regulatory changes, and market conditions impacting commercial insurance. Provide insights and recommendations to clients based on market developments to ensure their policies remain current and compliant.
Team Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including underwriters, claims professionals, and risk management specialists, to deliver seamless insurance solutions to clients. Foster a collaborative and supportive work environment to achieve team goals.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Risk Management, or a related field (preferred).
- Proven experience as a Commercial Insurance Account Manager or similar role within the insurance industry.
- Strong knowledge of commercial insurance products, policies, and coverage options.
- Possess appropriate insurance licenses and certifications as required by New York State regulations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail.
- Proficiency in insurance software and CRM systems.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.

Pay: $50,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
