BASIC FUNCTION

Educate customers and help them buy residential/commercial HVAC equipment

QUALIFICATIONS

• High School diploma

• 5 years sales or installation experience

• Ability to close sales

• Ability to perform heat load calculations

• Ability to represent the company in a professional manner with customers, vendors,

staff and the general public

• Work well under pressure

• Must have valid drivers license and a good driving record

• Ability to handle difficult customer/installer/technician issues

• Adaptabilitythe individual adapts to changes in the work environment, manages

competing demands and is able to deal with frequent change, delays or unexpected

events

• Good communicator works well with different personality styles

ESSENTIAL DUTIES

1. Meet or exceed sales budget

2. Determine and design the best HVAC systems for customers needs

3. Complete a heat load for each customer

4. Complete paperwork as required by company policy

5. Meet the customer at the beginning of the jobs

6. Meet the customer and go through system operations at the end of jobs

7. Collect for the jobs (residential)

8. Ensure that all paperwork is complete so jobs can be billed (commercial)

9. Complete all manufacturer program paperwork

10. Speak to customers and others that reception cannot assist

11. Other tasks as assigned

WORKING CONDITIONS

Works in a controlled and safe office environment and the field. Must travel to

meet technicians, customers, or vendors; thereby, may be exposed to occupational

hazards including potential driving accidents. Must adhere to related company policies

regarding Safety and Health including Safe / Distracted Driving.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

Physical demands are low to medium. Must be able to lift/carry up to 30 lbs.; be

self-motivated; able to use standard office equipment; and able to handle rapidly

changing priorities and several tasks simultaneously (multi-tasking).

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $45,000.00 - $62,000.00 per year
