Full description of the position

We are a boutique independent insurance agency that specializes in niche insurance products. We are looking for someone that is able to work in a team and collaborative environment. Must have a client-focused attitude and value the importance of relationships, professionalism and trust. Must have solid communication skills, be detail oriented and organized. Must be able to learn new skills, systems, processes, and procedures. Someone that is a great listener and not afraid to ask questions. We believe that learning is vital to success.

Duties:

* Provide Producers and Clients with service needs updating existing accounts
* Provide a high level of support in maintaining, expanding, and servicing commercial accounts
* Assist in the review of company issued new and renewal policies, endorsements and audits for accuracy rating.
* Issue Certificates, ID Cards, Change Requests, Invoices, etc.
* Handle telephone calls and written miscellaneous correspondence
* Maintain office records and files in accordance with the procedures/processes.
* Maintain a suspense system to follow up on outstanding invoices, correspondence, reports and follow up on overdue and suspense items
* Other duties as needed

Required Skills:

* Property and Casualty Insurance License
* 1+ years of prior work experience in a similar position, preferred
* Ability to type at least 40 WPM
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365
* Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills
