Position Overview:
We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Sales Assistant to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing administrative support to the sales team, including entering orders, coordinating shipments, managing inventory and customer accounts, and responding to customer inquiries. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work proactively and independently as well as part of a team.
Responsibilities:
- Review purchase orders and create sales orders on QuickBooks. Send the sales order to the customer and follow up with the delivery status. Communicate with the customer if there are issues needing to be amended on the purchase order.
- Create purchase orders on QuickBooks; place orders to the factory and partnered service centers and manage delivery.
- Manage delivery with the customer and forwarder.
- Create invoices and shipping instructions on QuickBooks. Coordinate the shipment with the forwarder for accurate and successful delivery. Update the customers with the shipping information.
- Update and monitor inventory records.
- Handle any issues or discrepancies with shipments.
- Handle return shipments from customers.
- Support sales engineers by preparing quotations on QuickBooks. Manage quotes.
- Assist sales representatives in their daily activities.
- Maintain customer relationships and provide excellent customer service.
- Provide administrative support to the sales team.
- Maintain accurate records of sales and customer data.
Experience & Skills:
- Order processing experience of 4 years on QuickBooks.
- Experience in coordinating shipments (domestic and international).
- Inventory management experience.
- Sales administrative data entry experience.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and preferably Dynamics 365 CRM.
- Knowledge of sales and use tax is a plus.
- Background in the tech industry is a plus.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $45,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year
