MWS Wire Industries was founded in 1968 as a manufacturer of insulated and bare wire for customers in aerospace, defense and electronics industries. In the nearly five decades since its founding, the company has expanded into wire manufacturing for medical devices, automotive, musical instruments, sensors and consumer electronics, in addition to the original markets for magnet wire and special electrical conductors. In Nov 2020, MWS moved to a brand-new facility in Oxnard, CA and are looking to grow with our fantastic employee base.

MWS is looking for a talented and motivated Inside Salesperson to support our new facility in Oxnard, CA. This position reports directly to the Industrial Sales Supervisor.

The Salesperson’s primary responsibility is to have the account relationship with many high profiles, growth customers in the industrial sector (aerospace, magnetic components, connector, instruments, microwave etc.). This requires working collaboratively with the customer (engineering and purchasing) and the MWS engineering and manufacturing department to identify, define and detail new product opportunities, while maintaining existing sales. The key task will be to understand in detail the customer applications across various industries. The application knowledge can then be used to understand what wire products will work best. This will be a dynamic and exciting role which has a lot of exposure and upside potential.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE

• High School diploma or GED required
• Bachelor’s Degree preferred, but not required

• Strong attention to detail
• Flexible and willing to accept a change in priorities as necessary
• Demonstrated critical thinking skills
• Strong ability to be hands-on, work independently and remain self-motivated with minimal direct supervision
• Must be able to work well with others (both inside and outside of the department and company)
• Good language and communication skills, both internal and external
• A desire to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $60,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift

Supplemental pay types:
