JOB TITLE: Licensed Medicare Insurance Agent / Sales

SCHEDULE: Monday – Friday; 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM (Flexible)

Summary of Responsibilities:

This is a sales position that requires enthusiasm, motivation, and hustle! Primary responsibilities include making phone calls to schedule appointments, B2B calls to employers explaining our services and how we can transition Medicare eligibles off employer coverage, meeting with Medicare-eligible individuals to assess their health insurance needs and offer solutions, selling insurance, and following up to ensure successful implementation of insurance products.

Principal Accountabilities:

• SALES
• Meet with prospective clients and sell insurance
• Make outbound phone calls to businesses to schedule on-site Medicare workshops for employees
• B2B calls to employers to discuss our services and how we can save employers money on thier company benefits
• Make outbound calls to individuals (age 64+) to schedule appointments
• Complete insurance applications and follow up to ensure successful implementation
• Attend weekly sales meetings to report on results
• Network in the community, form relationships with other area professionals
• Public speaking at seminars and events

Position Requirements

• PA State Health Insurance License (PA life license a plus)
• High ethical standards and a clean compliance history
• Minimum 2 years of sales experience
• Exceptional sales and customer service skills (including excellent telephone skills)
• Demonstrated proficiency in MS Office Suite (e.g., Word, Excel)
• Self-starter with demonstrated ability to work independently in fast-paced environment
