Full description of the position

We are seeking an enthusiastic and highly motivated Outside Sales Representative to join our Christmas light company. As an integral member of our sales team, you will be responsible for establishing and nurturing relationships with property managers, property owners, city planners, commercial property stakeholders, and municipalities. Your primary objective will be to promote and secure contracts for Christmas light decorations and services for their properties during the holiday season.

Responsibilities:

Business Development: Identify potential clients within the commercial property sector, including property managers, property owners, city planners, and municipalities. Conduct research to understand their needs and preferences regarding Christmas decorations.

Product Knowledge: Demonstrate a deep understanding of our Christmas light products, services, and design options. Be well-versed in the various features and benefits of our offerings to effectively communicate the value proposition to potential clients.

Pricing Strategy: Implement a competitive pricing plan that aligns with market trends, the scope of services, and customer budgets. Effectively communicate pricing details to clients, addressing any inquiries or concerns they may have.

Sales Presentations: Conduct compelling sales presentations tailored to the specific needs of each potential client. Showcase our Christmas light products, previous successful installations, and emphasize the positive impact of our decorations on enhancing the holiday spirit at their properties.

Relationship Building: Establish and maintain strong professional relationships with key decision-makers and influencers in the commercial property industry. Cultivate trust and credibility, positioning our company as the preferred provider for Christmas light decorations.

Negotiation and Closing: Skillfully negotiate contract terms and conditions to reach mutually beneficial agreements. Overcome objections and address customer concerns to facilitate successful sales closures.

Sales Targets: Meet and exceed monthly and annual sales targets set by the company. Be proactive in prospecting new leads and following up on potential opportunities to maximize sales growth.

Market Insights: Keep abreast of industry trends, competitor activities, and market developments to adapt sales strategies and maintain a competitive edge.

Requirements:

Proven track record in outside sales, preferably in the commercial property or municipalities service industry.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and influence decision-makers.

Self-driven and results-oriented, with a passion for meeting and exceeding sales goals.

Solid organizational and time management skills to prioritize leads and sales activities effectively.

Knowledge of Christmas light products and their installation processes is a plus, but not mandatory.

Willingness to travel and work independently to visit potential clients within the designated territory.
